Eddie and his assistant were absolutely amazing! They called me and told me they were coming. They arrived early! They were professional, courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable. They explained the procedure and set expectations about the installation. Quick pause and shoutout to Melody from Elk Grove Costco, who has been saying hi to me since before 2022, encouraging me to get a free estimate. And when I said OK, the nicest guy, Chris the sales representative, came knocking at my door in 2022 and in 2026. Also very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. Back to Eddie and his assistant - they were clean, laser-focused, and efficient. Altogether, the installation took 2 days, but it was such a highly professional installation, I only have high praise. I love my Lennox system and I love Environmental Heating and Air Solutions.

From May 20th through May 22nd, Environmental Heating & Air Solutions (EH&AS) installed a new Lennox heat pump air-conditioning system to replace the original system in our 40-year-old single story Cordelia home. This installation included replacing the underfloor duct system and floor registers with ducts located in the attic and new registers in the ceiling. The existing furnace/evaporator/air handler unit located in a hall closet was removed and all HVAC equipment with exception of the outdoor compressor/condenser unit also located in the attic. Not one piece of the original HVAC system was reused. Earlier, EH&AS Design Specialist Kevin Coulter spent nearly 3 hours with me designing and pricing the system. As a recently retired HVAC system engineer, I was eagerly involved in the design process with Kevin. Kevin was professional, knowledgeable, with zero high-pressure sales tactics and gave my wife and I confidence to go with Lennox and EH&AS. Lead Installer Eddie Saucedo directed the installation team. His professionalism and attention to details impressed me many times. Early on the first day I knew we were in good hands with Eddie. Eddie’s second Marcus was experienced, hardworking and cheerful. Installers Zavier and Charlie assisted for one day each. Much equipment had to come in the house and then into the attic through an access in the hall ceiling, yet not one scratch on walls or flooring. My overall rating of Environmental Heating & Air Solutions performance for this project and the performance of the Lennox HVAC system is a well-earned 5 stars out of 5. Kevin C came in and gave us a comprehensive guide to what we could expect, what we were eligible for, and what we could afford. His knowledge was relieving to us as we had already talked to other companies. He made a lot of sense and made the decision for us to use his services easy. Our installers, Doug and Charlie, were great. They did so much work to get our installation done with a very challenging attic. It was very hard work, but they knocked it out of the park with their determination and dedication to get it done. I'm very happy with the service and highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for new HVAC systems or any other service.

We went through Costco to replace our 25+ year old Lennox furnace and A/C. Our local Costco contracts with EHS. We highly recommend them! Chris C reviewed our current system, listened to us, and then made recommendations for a new Lennox heating/cooling system to meet our needs. He didn't try to upsell us and provided practical information to "right-size" our new Lennox system. On Installation Day, Jon Ehlers and team (with Marcus and Miguel) arrived on time and got right to work. They communicated regularly throughout the process, providing me with updates and answering all my questions. They even went above and beyond to complete a minor repair of an attic duct to ensure the system was airtight when testing the new heating/cooling system. The team spent close to 11 hours at my house to ensure everything was installed and working properly before they cleaned the work areas and packed up. Jon even showed us how to program our new thermostat. Everyone from EHS (office staff, Chris, Jon, Marcus & Miguel) was extremely professional and genuinely wanted to help answer all our questions to ensure our experience went smoothly with no surprises (e.g., last-minute changes). Now we're waiting on the paperwork from Archon to have the city review and approve the permit. And bonus—we already received our digital shop cards for using Costco's Special Order Kiosk program. Thank you Costco and EHS for this great program to replace our old furnace and A/C! We liked working with EHS so much—we signed up for their maintenance program to keep our new system operating efficiently for another 25+ years. :-)

My General Electric HVAC system was 45 years old. After replacing the blower motor 2 times and the condenser twice and PG&E rates out of sight, I decided to replace my HVAC unit and 7 out of 10 air ducts replaced, only 7 as 3 were between floors. Josh Madieros was my design specialist, suggested an 80% vs 99% efficiency system. I opted for the SLP99V furnace with the SL28XCV 4-ton condenser with a SEER up to 28. The Environmental Heating & Air Solutions removal & install team of lead Kevin Rivas, Jacob Arias and Markus Elers took the better part of 2 days to remove my old equipment and install my new HVAC system and replaced seven ducts on March 9 & 10, 2023 and did a fantastic job. They laid down floor protection for inside work. The system testing was completed but only did a small test on the air conditioning unit as the temperature was in the high 50's. I will give it a good test when it gets hot. The heating works great and is very quiet. I am very happy with my new Lennox HVAC, Costco and Environmental Heating & Air Solutions. I was finally able to test the AC unit on the last hot spell we had on April 26th thru the 29th. My system worked great, I just had to throttle back on the downstairs registers to get a balance of cool air upstairs. This is a great system, it’s quiet and very efficient as I checked on usage online @ PG&E.

The team at Environmental were excellent! From the very beginning when we requested an estimate to the very end when they cleaned up after installing the heating and air conditioning systems. The representative for the estimate performed a thorough review and walked my husband through what we currently had. He drew an excellent diagram to explain how our AC and heating systems were working and explained why we had the issues with noise and inefficient cooling. Next, he drew a diagram of the system that he recommended we have and explained each and every part and why it would work best. When we got to the price estimate, we both had sticker shock! I had done some research and I was way off my highest estimate. The rep walked through every detail of the estimate and, at my request, provided options to reduce cost (but of course that would impact efficiency, noise level, comfort and convenience). The recent events with COVID, shipping and inflation have driven prices way up! We thanked him for his estimate and let him know that we would get back to him in a few days. In the meantime, we had two other companies come out (big TV advertisers in the Sacramento area) and they were not as thorough. One did provide a diagram of what they were going to do and also stated that one major piece of equipment (I think something to do with the furnace) they were not going to replace because even though it was 23 years old it was still good, but their estimate was $10k more than Environmental! The other company did not provide any diagrams and barely explained his system and, to top it off, the rep seemed annoyed that I had questions (thanks to Environmental I was armed with knowledge)! Their estimate was $5k more than Environmental. Needless to say we went with Environmental’s system recommendation and it was the best decision we made. If your home is a forever home then it is worth the investment to put in a quality system that will last. The workers were timely, professional and kept the workplaces neat, and they cleaned up each day before they left. They answered any and all questions we had and assisted me with how to operate the system going forward. By the way, the Costco deal is excellent. Not only do you get the points for your Executive Membership, they offer a Costco gift card for a percentage of your total price; mine will cover at least 8 months of my Costco purchases! Also, Costco carries the warranty, so that provides me with peace of mind knowing that in 10+ years if something does go wrong I will have Costco to provide coverage if necessary.

This evening, after working a long shift elsewhere about forty minutes away, he comes back to my home to do a follow-up check from last Friday's installation of a Lennox AC and furnace unit. He greets us with a big smile and begins to reassess the furnace unit and supervises 2 colleagues replacing the circuit breaker for energy efficiency.
