Environmental Heating & Air Solutions serves homeowners across Placer and Solano counties and communities throughout Northern California from offices in Roseville and Benicia.
We’re privately owned and locally rooted, and we handle heating, air conditioning, indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and water heaters, with 24/7 emergency service when something fails at the worst time.
Our Story
Environmental Heating & Air Solutions was founded in 2010 by Matthew Evans as a mom-and-pop shop with one employee, operating out of a garage. In 2014, Matt partnered with Costco Wholesale, and that’s when things took off.
Today, Environmental Heating & Air Solutions has evolved into a full-service HVAC business with a state-of-the-art facility and a full team of technicians, ready to help with everything from emergency repairs to complete system replacements. What hasn’t changed is the idea we started with: advanced HVAC technology delivered with old-school customer care. That means showing up on time, explaining things clearly, and treating your home the way we’d treat our own.

- Sized for your home. We use load calculations to match equipment to your home, and we work at or above manufacturer specifications.
- One team for the whole home. With both C-20 (HVAC) and C-36 (plumbing) licenses, we handle heating, cooling, and water heaters, including hybrid heat pump models, under one roof. We also offer blower door testing, energy score testing, air sealing, and insulation to help improve comfort and efficiency beyond the equipment itself.
- Help with rebates and financing. As a TECH Clean California contractor, we can walk you through rebates and incentives you may qualify for, and financing is available on approved credit.
- Founder-owned and locally rooted. Matthew Evans still leads the company that was started in 2010, and we’re a privately owned business, not a chain.
Save with an Energy Saving Agreement
Our maintenance plans put priority service, lower diagnostic costs, and repair warranties behind your system. Both plans fulfill manufacturer warranty requirements.
- Basic ESA: $14.97/month for your first unit ($11.97 for each additional). One combined A/C and heating visit, priority service, a $49 diagnostic rate (standard is $129), discounts on repairs, enhancements, and filters, and a 1-year parts-and-labor warranty on repairs.
- Complete ESA: $24.97/month for your first unit ($19.97 for each additional). Two visits a year (spring and fall), priority service, the same $49 diagnostic rate and discounts, and a 2-year parts-and-labor warranty on repairs.
