They scheduled the appointment promptly and got to the root of the repair requirement. Another company had made two visits failing to solve the problem, suggesting the need for a $2K part. Raul found that my unit was not tuned to spec, repaired that problem, found and repaired a gas leak and a wire where the insulation had melted. I got really needed maintenance and repairs, not unnecessary parts. Well done, with videos and pics to show me the issues.

Outstanding Job Servicing Our AC System Sep 6, 2024

Our system was serviced by John on 9/5/2024. John was personable, courteous, professional, respected our property, and did an outstanding job servicing our AC system. He was thorough, explained the testing he was doing, and even cleaned the fins on our compressor outdoors. He is the first technician that I've seen do that! He checked the capacitor and, all in all, did a wonderful job of servicing our AC system. Maybe next year, I'll ask for him to come service our system again.

Carlos and Tim are awesome. Both are super knowledgeable and professional and worked hard to get my AC working in the heat of summer (temps >100 degrees). Carlos did a fantastic job diagnosing that I had a leak from my compressor, but refilled my tank to ensure I had enough to keep the house cool. Both came back and combed through the system to make sure that was the only leak, then ordered the part and installed it within a week. I’m very happy with my service from EHA, especially from Carlos and Tim.

They Are Now Our HVAC Company Jul 8, 2024

We had a problem with our AC not working during the 4th of July weekend. EVH was the 6th company we called. Although they were unable to get to us on Saturday afternoon/evening, they did say that they could (and did) get a technician out to us late the next late afternoon/early evening. Every other company said middle to late next week. We're having temps in excess of 108 degrees. As promised, the technician arrived around 6–6:30. He was very pleasant and professional. We were very well taken care of by him, and by extension, the company. They were very reasonably priced. They are now our HVAC company.

I would like to give Shannon Williams a big shoutout for the great work he did to fix our zoning issue. He was very professional and gave me some good information about what happened. Maybe it’s Christmas time that his iPad decided not to work today and because of it, he couldn’t write me up for the labor, so he decided not to charge me. More Christmas money for the family, as he said. What a great guy. I definitely recommend this company and their technicians are amazing, especially Shannon! Thanks for the amazing job today! Update: 08/23/2023 Our air condition stopped working the last 3 days and Antonio Cuervo came to troubleshoot the issue. He found it and fixed it and we have air again. Antonio was excellent and a great person to chat with. Very knowledgeable about the system. Would definitely ask him to come from now on for any issues. Update: 02/19/2024 Freddie Alvarez came to check the issue of why our upstairs can be so hot or cold when we just want the downstairs on. Jonathan M saved the day! He is a hard worker, takes pride in the job he does, and is fantastic at listening to and educating homeowners about their heating and air conditioning systems. He has years of experience in the industry, which made us feel confident our system was in good hands. The pin on the contactor on our air conditioner seized up, and a fuse prevented the air conditioner from starting up. He walked us through the troubleshooting process. He explained why the system wouldn't work without replacing the contactor and its role in starting up the system. He also provided an estimate, so we could decide to move forward with the repair without any surprises. Once the contactor was replaced, he made sure the system was working well. He spent a lot of time with us and made us feel comfortable. In a polite and respectful manner, he educated us on why our system wasn't functioning as well as it should be. While we can't afford to replace the ducting at this time, he gave us suggestions to improve our heating and cooling needs and tips on how to help maintain our system. He went above and beyond our expectations when he returned late at night because of a strange buzzing sound. It was very important to him that our system functioned without the buzzing, and we were satisfied with his work. He knew exactly what needed to be done, and he fixed the problem. We've been with Environmental Heating & Air Solutions for 8 years now and have always been impressed with their technicians and office personnel. Thank you.

I love this company! Our A/C stopped working completely on a Friday, and the weather was forecasted to be in the 100's for the next few days! I called the company on our thermostat, and they wouldn't come out because we are renters. I asked my friends for recommendations on a good A/C company. My boss and a friend of mine recommended them! I called, and they were able to send a technician out that afternoon! Patrick was AMAZING! Although he couldn't fix the issue because the issue was with our breaker box and not the A/C unit itself, he made us aware of a health concern with the A/C unit. The fiberglass inside the unit is breaking down and coming through the vents. He wrote up a very detailed report of his findings, and now the landlords are trying to get this issue repaired! Thank you for sending such a knowledgeable technician that went above and beyond!! You have gained a customer for life!!! We couldn't be any more grateful than we are! We Have Finally Found Someone Jul 12, 2022

We have finally found someone to find the issue with our Lennox AC unit! After 30 minutes of being here, Carey (my new hero) found out what was wrong, and it is indeed the return valve, which we found out is a rare occurrence in these Lennox units. When asking about the possibility of the other HVAC company that installed it, and also asking about the chances of the techs missing it when they are a Lennox servicer, Carey said it could’ve happened later on in the life of the system and it would be so hard to know when exactly it happened. He ran the tests and found out what was wrong, and we are now on the road to getting it fixed. When I tell you that customer service is such a big deal to me, I really can’t emphasize it enough. He told me each test he was running, explained it to me so I can understand, literally sat on my couch and explained in detail to my realtors and my husband as well. He even called to make sure the part we needed was in stock and has it ready to be dropped off at his office, and he got me in this Thursday to fix it! I really can’t give them a better review! If you are looking for someone in the Sacramento/Bay Area to service or repair your units and you have Lennox or any other unit, this is the company!

What a great experience! My landlord contacted Environmental Heating and Air after I contacted him to let him know that my AC wasn't putting out any cold air. They responded within minutes and I had an appointment the next day, which is amazing considering it is the heat of the summer and was 104 today. They sent Carey out to check out the system and he was able to figure out that there was a faulty breaker and get it fixed the same day. He was friendly, professional, and did a very thorough job checking out the system to make sure it was going to continue keeping me cool! I would use them time and time again (with a request that Carey do the work) and will refer them to all my friends.

I definitely take back any derogatory comments I made before about this company. Zack was at my house for a while today trying to find out why I have high humidity in my home, and he did a great and thorough job. Super frustrating to have a brand new home that is so uncomfortable to live in. He knew HRV and modern systems really well and found more about my system than I previously knew. Definitely call this place if you have a situation or problem of unknown cause or origin.

Thoroughly Impressed Since the Start Feb 14, 2026

We booked Env Heating & Air through Costco and have been thoroughly impressed since the start. They installed a new furnace for us, replacing a model from 1973! They also went above and beyond and fixed several leaks in the old ductwork, which other companies quoted us thousands to do. They tested the system repeatedly, built a new to-code furnace platform, and were great at explaining everything they were doing and why. Raul and Jefferson were our techs for the install and if I could give them 6 stars, I would.
